THE BLACK SHADOW…
Amb. Diana Mehmeti
That name made me a black shadow… It followed me through memories, like evening that lingers on threshold – and cannot find dawn.
I once called it trembling – as hope is called in loneliness, but time faded the sounds… And silence dressed them in black!
Therefore I leave it behind without anger and without curse, Like leaf that autumn wind takes away,
Because not every departure is loss, and not every name is fate.
That name made me black shadow… But I was not born to live in foreign shadows, Inside me still lights a light – that not even night can extinguish…!

Therefore I leave it behind without anger and without curse, Like leaf that autumn wind takes away,
